ONCODIR at EU Cancer Mission Roadshow 2024 in Romania
From 2nd-4th August 2024, the EU Cancer Mission’s groundbreaking Roadshow has made its first Romanian stop in Brezoi.
As part of an international initiative to combat cancer, this event provided the public with essential information and raised awareness on critical issues. Our partners from BEIA Romania had the distinct opportunity to present the ONCODIR project and engage with leading experts, including scientists, doctors, and patients, gaining firsthand insights into cancer risks and the importance of prevention. This event was not merely a participation; it was an opportunity to foster vital synergies that have the potential to save lives.
The EU Cancer Mission is not merely a tour—it’s a movement, launched as a unique public communication campaign by the The EU Cancer Mission. Through its mobile ‘consultation room,’ the Roadshow is visiting Lithuania, Poland, and Romania, where doctors, scientists, and patients alike are uniting to exchange knowledge and experiences. This interactive and informative journey aims to demystify cancer and equip individuals with the tools necessary for prevention and early detection.
