3rd ONCODIR Plenary Meeting Held in Brussels
On January 15th and 16th, 2025, EUREGHA hosted the 3rd ONCODIR Plenary Meeting in Brussels, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across Europe. The meeting focused on advancing efforts in cancer prevention and early detection, with a particular emphasis on colorectal cancer (CRC).
Key discussions revolved around:
- CRC Primary Prevention: Strategies to raise awareness and promote effective prevention measures.
- AI-Driven Solutions: Presenting tools and recommendations to support early detection and prevention.
- Policy Strategies: Aligning efforts at the regional, national, and EU levels to strengthen cancer prevention initiatives.
- Technology Demos: Highlighting innovations such as mobile applications designed to enhance CRC prevention & early detection.
The event also provided an opportunity to finalize preparations for the upcoming 1st Project Period Review and outline the next steps in the project’s development.
